Ruby Nursery is situated in a picturesque slice of the Willamette Valley, in Carlton, Oregon, in the sub-AVA of Yamhill Carlton. This region of Oregon is an absolute go-to destination for lovers of wine—but historically, with rich volcanic and glacial soil, the Willamette Valley has been known the world over for growing fresh fruits, vegetables and hazelnuts. It’s the perfect place for an all-inclusive nursery.

Ruby Nursery truly has a unique opportunity to engage in rarities. With an emphasis on Ornamental Maples, as well as other highly sought-after genera, the nursery has had over 570 species of Maple come through the greenhouses and over 800 total species across the in-house graftings. Ruby Nursery is moving forward with a strong commitment towards conscious growth and sustainable business practices, while continuing to provide quality plants and customer service.
A growing legacy
Located in Carlton, Oregon, Ruby Nursery (formerly Mineral Springs Ornamentals) is owned by CJ McCollum and his wife Elise. With new management in place, customers will find a new level of quality and service with Lauren Eisold at the helm, guiding environmentally friendly practices aimed at protecting the land and the people who live and work there.
